Example: Food insecurity in Africa despite global food surplus. ✅ Neo-Marxist Perspective in Environmentalism Environmental degradation is caused by corporate greed, overproduction, and resource hoarding, not population growth. Example: Climate change is driven by industries, not poor populations. ✅ Socialist Policies in Welfare States Scandinavian models (Sweden, Norway) use state intervention to ensure fair distribution of resources. 5. Conclusion Marxist theory remains a strong critique of capitalist-induced poverty and inequality. However, ignoring natural limits on resources and failing in real-world implementation weaken its applicability. A balanced approach integrating economic justice, technological advancement, and sustainability is needed to address population issues.
